Description

40mm Dynamic Flip Flop Block

Flip Flop Blocks are designed to pivot around a central fixing point, keeping the rope close to the deck, mast or boom while still allowing the block to articulate to the correct lead angle. This helps minimise friction while guiding the rope efficiently.

Manufactured from laser-cut stainless steel, the body and backing plate are produced to precise tolerances, ensuring consistent quality, maximum strength and a compact design.

Dynamic Bearing Sheave

The sheave features Allen's Dynamic Bearing technology, using twin rows of stainless-steel ball bearings running on a stainless-steel rail. This provides superior load-carrying capability and longevity compared to bearing systems that run on plastic rails.

Removable Design

A clevis pin connects the main Flip Flop body to the backing plate and serves as the pivot point. Removing the pin separates the body from the backing plate, allowing easier installation and enabling the body to be fitted either way up.

Compatible Mounting

The backing plate features fixing hole centres of 60.3mm, making the range easily interchangeable with existing products on the market.
