Delivery Highlights

• Free UK Next Working Day Delivery on orders over £100 (in-stock items only).
• Order by 2:00pm for next working day dispatch on eligible UK orders.
• International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
• Back-ordered items are typically available within 2-3 weeks and orders containing back orders are dispatched complete once all items are in stock.
• Long items over 1.2m incur additional shipping charges. Items over 2.4m require a special delivery service.
• Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs or carrier delays.

We strongly recommend that customers outside the United Kingdom check any applicable import duties, taxes, customs charges, and handling fees before placing an order. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer. Allen Brothers is not liable for additional costs incurred when importing goods into your country.

Free next working day delivery is only available for UK orders and does not apply to international shipments.

Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other local charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

As customs regulations and fees vary between countries, we recommend contacting your local customs authority before placing an order to understand any potential charges. Unfortunately, Allen Brothers has no control over these fees and cannot advise on the amounts that may be payable.

If import duties, taxes, or customs charges are refused or remain unpaid, your order may be returned to Allen Brothers or destroyed by the local customs authority or courier. In such cases:

• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Any costs incurred in returning the goods to Allen Brothers will be deducted from any refund due.
• If the goods are destroyed or otherwise not returned to us, we may be unable to provide a refund.

By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any import-related charges that may apply in your country.

Long Items

Due to carrier restrictions and the additional handling required, products measuring over 2.4 metres in packed length cannot be shipped using our standard delivery services. If you would like to order an item exceeding this length, please contact our sales team to discuss available shipping options:

Items over 1.2 metres in packed length are subject to an additional shipping surcharge:

• UK: £16.00 (Inc. VAT)
• Europe: £39.99 (Ex. VAT)
• USA: £45.00 (Ex. VAT)

Where applicable, the surcharge will be added automatically at checkout. If you have any questions regarding shipping costs for long items, please contact our sales team before placing your order.

Packaging

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and helping to keep our waterways and oceans clean.

All orders are shipped in FSC®-certified cardboard packaging sourced from responsibly managed forests. Where suitable, we also reuse packaging materials to minimise waste and extend the life of existing resources.

To further reduce our environmental footprint:

• All void fill is made from 100% recycled materials.
• We use paper gum tape instead of plastic packing tape wherever possible.
• Packaging is selected to provide the necessary protection while minimising excess material.

By making sustainable choices throughout our packaging process, we aim to reduce waste without compromising the safe delivery of your order.

Back Orders (Out of Stock)

If an item is currently out of stock, it can usually still be placed on back order. Our typical lead time for back-ordered items is 2-3 weeks from the date of order, although this may vary depending on product availability and supplier lead times.

If you require a more accurate delivery estimate for a specific item, please contact our sales team, who will be happy to confirm the expected restock date.

Please note that orders containing back-ordered items will be held and dispatched once all items are available. We do not currently offer partial shipments for web orders.
