A knot or swaged ball is positioned on the halyard at the precise point where the mainsail reaches full hoist. Once the sail is raised, the knot or ball is engaged into the V-shaped profile, allowing the halyard to be released while securely locking the sail in position.

This simple yet highly effective system provides a safe and reliable halyard lock that remains secure under load. To lower the sail, simply tension the halyard and pull the knot or ball free from the V profile.

Key Features:

Designed for mainsail halyard locking systems

Securely locks halyards under load

Simple and reliable operation

Ideal for mast-mounted installations

Compatible with knots or swaged ball terminations

Suitable for rope and wire diameters from 2mm to 6mm

For detailed dimensions and installation information, download the technical drawing PDF.
